Working in a job for 200+ hours/quarter - (3pts)

Balancing my role as a music instructor at Guitar Center with my coursework at Western Washington University has been both challenging and rewarding. Teaching has strengthened my communication skills, pushed me to break down complex ideas clearly, and reminded me why I value creativity and connection in the first place. At the same time, being a student keeps me thinking critically and learning new approaches that I can bring back into my lessons. Managing both roles has taught me discipline, time management, and how to stay focused on growth in multiple areas of my life. Overall, this experience has helped me develop professionally while staying grounded in the work that inspires me.
